The Cathedral Choir of St. Stephen’s

is a group of advanced amateur singers. The emphasis of the choir’s work is on liturgical compositions of Viennese Classicism and the Romantic period.

Key works from the oratorio repertoire are performed at regular cathedral concerts.

Weekly rehearsals with Domkapellmeister Markus Landerer are held on Fridays between 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. at the Curhaus building (Stephansplatz 3).

Mrs. Petra Chiba provides singing lessons for Cathedral Choir members. Places are subject to availability.

Interested in joining?

The Cathedral Choir is looking for enthusiastic male and female singers with choral experience who are willing to attend regular rehearsals. Members will accompany Sunday mass at St. Stephen’s Cathedral about once a month.

Please contact us for an audition.
